Sunbelt Roleplay recognizes English as our official language. Users are required to communicate solely in the English language. Utilization of other languages is prohibited.
Users shall conduct themselves with a level of respect and professionalism for themselves, others, and the platform. Users are not expected to get along with everyone and are allowed to joke around and make light hearted banter with others. But, users shall always understand the difference between banter and bullying/harassment/disrespect, know when "enough is enough", and know when it's the right time and place to act outside of the norm.
Users who choose to consume intoxicating substances are encouraged to make reasonable choices and are responsible for their actions. Users who intoxicated by substances and are unable to maintain the required level of respect and professionalism shall stay away from platforms until they have regained a normal state.
Users shall adhere to the guidelines and directives of Department Supervisors, Community Staff Team Members, Community Leadership, and Community Management. If a user has a concern with actions being taken, they are encouraged to either reach out to the individual issuing the guideline/directive or their supervisor via official platform channels to discuss the issue.
The act of retaliating against another user is prohibited. Supervisors, Community Staff, and Leadership who retaliate against another user will be immediately removed from their elevated access with additional action being taken.
All content and communications while on platform shall be no higher than a PG-13 rating. The distribution of pornographic or otherwise inappropriate/adult imagery or communication is prohibited. Users are encouraged to communicate freely and use banter, mild-jokes, and tasteful profanity on our platform. With that in mind, excessive use of any of the listed is discouraged and continual issues will be moderated.
Sunbelt Roleplay uses NSFW 18+ content filters on certain channels where discussions are highly likely of the 18+ variety. Users are expected to adhere to and follow all guidelines of any platforms and/or services utilized in conjunction with Sunbelt Roleplay. For example, users shall always follow Discord Terms of Service and FiveM's User Agreement.
Users who have been given elevated permissions for utilization within Sunbelt Roleplay shall always utilize them professionally and in accordance strictly within the guidelines of their access. Abuse or otherwise misuse of the elevated access will be grounds for immediate loss of that access.
All assets utilized within Sunbelt Roleplay are property of Sunbelt Roleplay and Community Management. Documentation utilized within Sunbelt Roleplay shall always be held within the Sunbelt Roleplay Shared Drive services.
Users who donate development assets to Sunbelt Roleplay are responsible for ensuring their donation is in line with the creator's terms of service agreement. Sunbelt Roleplay is not responsible for if assets donated violate a creator's terms of service agreement. Sunbelt Roleplay will take reasonable steps to ensure that a user has obtained resources their donating through authorized means by requiring payment verification proof.
Upon departure from Sunbelt Roleplay, Sunbelt Roleplay will only remove donated development assets if the creator's terms of service stipulates it specifically. It is the duty of the user who donated it to notify Sunbelt Roleplay of the need to remove those assets. Upon notification, Sunbelt Roleplay will take steps necessary to remove those assets as long as we are able to reasonably obtain replacement assets within a reasonable amount of time.
Sunbelt Roleplay prohibits the advertising of personal Discords, businesses, or other FiveM law enforcement/civilian roleplay communities (excluding servers that are solely FivePD) on Sunbelt Roleplay platforms. Users may promote their own social media/streaming platforms if used for streaming or posting content related to Sunbelt Roleplay. Users posting social media/streaming platforms shall only post within approved channels at approved posting limits.
Users shall never promote or post information in other communities or on other platforms that would be in violation with their guidelines. Sunbelt Roleplay expressly restricts all users from direct message recruiting or attempts to "poach", "back door recruit", or otherwise recruit users from other platforms to join. Exceptions provided for platforms that specifically allow recruitment attempts be made within certain areas.
Community Members are not restricted from being apart of any other FiveM roleplay community unless that community is not in good standing, otherwise known as "blacklisted", within Sunbelt Roleplay. Community Members who have attained the following are not allowed to dual clan within other FiveM roleplay communities:
Community Leadership and Management
Community Staff Team Members
Department Supervisors, Command, and Head of Department
Sunbelt Roleplay works exceptionally hard to maintain a professional relationship with other FiveM roleplay communities. In the instances where communities actively work to destabilize, negatively effect, or otherwise disparage Sunbelt Roleplay, Community Management reserves the right mark certain communities as "Blacklisted".
Community Members are not welcome to dual clan between a blacklisted community and Sunbelt Roleplay and have 24-48 hours (whatever timeframe is issued during the official announcement) to either electively resign from the blacklisted community or resign from Sunbelt Roleplay. Community Members who do not choose will be removed under a Proper Resignation from Sunbelt Roleplay. We respect a user's right to choose, but also reserve the right to make the choice that will ensure the long-term success and stabilization of the community.
None!
Sunbelt Roleplay servers shall only be utilized for actions and content related to Sunbelt Roleplay. Community Members shall only utilize Sunbelt Roleplay servers for roleplay and/or training purposes. Roleplay shall always be within the Area of Patrol. FiveM server guidelines are enforced throughout the entire server, not just within the Area of Patrol.
Communications and interactions in-game shall always remain in-character. Out-of-character communications are expressly prohibited unless it is done through the proper text chat to notify another user of you having game issues that is effecting the scene, you needing to restart your equipment, or the need to pause a scene due to technical difficulties. Users shall never debate or argue something out-of-character.
Community Staff Team Members are allowed to utilize OOC/GOOC to notify of important major scene/server wide announcements/information that needs to be sent out. The Development Team is allowed to utilize GOOC to notify of incoming emergency server maintenance.
Citizens who experience technical difficulties which could lead to unexpected vehicle crashes, accidentally bumping into someone, or causes AI to maneuver in a certain way that isn't realistic to cause an accident, can use GOOC to advise they are disregarding a certain action that occurred. Users who are suspected of abusing this will be restricted from disregarding certain actions by Community Leadership.
The Area of Patrol is set by the highest ranking Community Staff Member in-game at that time. If no Community Staff Member is in-game, the highest level Department Supervisor is allowed to step in to complete this duty. The AOP should follow what was outlined within the patrol schedule announcement for that day and should only change if there is a change in Civilians on patrol that would make the current AOP either too big or too small. AOP changes should happen no less than one hour after the last change.

Content must be well-made, high quality, and free of violations of Community Rules and Regulations.
Must be at least 1080p+ with a reasonable level of attention provided towards production and presentation.
Users must act professionally and demonstrate Sunbelt Roleplay and it's roleplay within a positive light.
Users shall never display sensitive community information on stream or in content.
Sunbelt Roleplay Community Leadership reserves the right to restrict any user from creating content on Sunbelt Roleplay platforms. Users who are notified of being restricted from creating content shall cease immediately. Users who create content on Sunbelt Roleplay agree, if requested, to remove partially or wholly any content created on Sunbelt Roleplay within a reasonable amount of time.
Community Members shall never utilize any performance modifications except Engine, Brake, and Transmission. The use of bullet proof tires is prohibited. All vehicles shall be modified in a way that is realistic for the average use of a specific vehicle.
Fail Roleplay, otherwise known as FailRP, is defined as acting within a way that could not be done within a real-life setting by the average or objectively trained individual. Examples:
Driving a sports vehicle up a mountain
Serving off-road at high speeds
Falling off a tall building and walking away without issue
Crashing your vehicle at high speeds and walking/running away from the crash uninjured
Swimming across large bodies of water for extended periods of time
Getting shot multiple times and acting as if nothing was wrong or if you were uninjured
Power Gaming is defined as the use of game/roleplay mechanics that do not exist in an intentionally attempt to always make a scene or investigation go your way.
Force Roleplay, otherwise known as ForceRP, is forcing a roleplay scenario to go a certain way without the input and/or collaboration of the other users involved. Users are expected to make the scenario engaging for all parties involved and allow their reasonable attempts/actions to change the roleplay scenario. These types of scenarios force someone to participate in something they don't want to without their effecting input.
Common examples of Force Roleplay:
Pulling a weapon and advising in text chat that an officer does not see him doing it.
The "perfect crime" scenario where a criminal commits a crime, or multiple crimes, where investigators find absolutely no evidence and every lead goes absolutely no where.
Forcing the hand of the citizen, disregarding all attempts to conduct a different action, to grab the officers gun and shoot him.
Combat Logging is defined as the act of disconnecting from the server or forcefully turning off your internet to lose connection to avoid in-game punishment, death, or involvement in a scenario you're unhappy about. This is prohibited.
The use of cheating or hacking software to modify the game unfairly for yourself and provide yourself or others an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
Law Enforcement Baiting is defined as intentionally attempting to get law enforcement's attention for them to interact with you, if the attempt is exceptionally excessive and grandiose in nature.
Civilian Stalking is defined as when law enforcement personnel intentionally staying in the area they know civilians are with the intention of finding a way to interact with them in some capacity. Example:
Continually following a civilian for an exceptional amount of time in an attempt to find a reason to stop/interact with them.
Community Members shall always act realistically to their current character and position. Characters and actions shall always follow an "average person" standard in that all characters and actions should be average or slightly above average at whatever the action/reaction is.
Sunbelt Roleplay understands that sometimes Community Members may have to go AFK for periods of time suddenly or due to emergencies. Users may never be AFK for more than 15 minutes while in-game.
No users except Community Staff Members (Administrator+) may disregard a scene. Disregarding a scene shall only occur if the actions within it are an egregious violation of community or departmental guidelines or is a causation for large server instability. Users may disregard individual actions if they were caused by large amounts of lag, computer instability, or other technical constraints out of their control.
The use of teleporting shall only occur when just spawning into the world and getting to the AOP or after getting discharged from the hospital and needing to return to your home/police station. Invisibility shall never be used. Gode mode shall never be used. No Clip shall only be used if it's to move within a scene due to mechanic error/restraints. For example:
Getting into a building with an interior but a non-operable door.
This section will cover specific sections that are geared towards utilization within departments, subdivisions, and certain groups within Sunbelt Roleplay. They are inherently roleplay based, but have applicability to out-of-character department operations.
This procedure provides a standard activity requirement for all roleplay departments within the community. External departments like the Development Team, Recruitment Team, and the Community Staff Team are expected to articulate an activity procedure that is equitable to this guideline. Departments shall not set a requirement that exceeds or is lower than this guideline. Departments may set a requirement that exceeds this guide if it is used for promotion eligibility.

So if the month is August, the cycles would end on August 14th and August 31st. Sunbelt Roleplay Community Management reserves the right to waive cycle activity for any cycle within the community.
Leave of absences are processed and handled by a Community Member's primary department. Community Members who will be unavailable on all platforms and unable to communicate for more than five (5) days are eligible to submit a leave of absence. Community Members who are unable to get in-game and patrol or complete administrative duties due to life obligations but are able to communicate via platforms are encouraged to communicate with your primary department for an activity waiver/exception for that cycle.
Community Citizen Recruits are not eligible for LOAs. Additionally, no individual may be on LOA for more than 30 days within a 90 day period of time. Anyone who needs more than a 45 day LOA is encouraged to resign and reapply. Exceptions are provided for military service and law enforcement recruit academies.
Community Members who meet eligibility requirements are able to apply to transfer from their primary department to another department. Current primary departments include the Municipal Police Department, San Andreas Medical Services, and the Development Team. Civilian Operations is not considered a primary department unless you are a Civilian Supervisor or Command.
Transfer Eligibility Requirements:
Successfully complete the probationary period of your current department.
Must have an active status within your current department.
Be in good standing with your current and prospective department.
Have a disciplinary action clear of active Written Reprimands, Suspension of Duties, Demotions, or Terminations.

How to Transfer:

The prospective department will ensure eligibility and communicate with your current department.
Transfers can take up to one-week to process.
Community Members who successfully transfer may get placed no higher than the first non-probationary member position. Department Heads or their designee may waive a member's training requirement as long as they have the required experience and can demonstrate it.
In certain instances departments may be interested in initiating a lateral transfer process to bring qualified applicants into their departments at accelerated positions in order to support department operations and long-term success. Department Heads shall communicate directly with Community Leadership regarding their interest in starting this process before beginning to look at candidates to bring in.
When a Community Member is laterally transferred, they may only be transferred at a maximum the same equivalent position to what their previous department position was. Upon completion of the transfer, the Community Member is ineligible to transfer for 45 days and is not eligible for promotion for 30 days.
Community Members are restricted from discussing further or possible promotions with other Community Members or continually asking about promotions/applications for promotions. Additionally, Community Members shall never discuss what they would/will do if they get promoted.
Promotions occur at all levels within Sunbelt Roleplay. Promotions, unless approved by Community Management, may only occur at the end of each promotion cycle. Department Member promotions may occur at the end of both cycles in a month. Department Supervisor, Community Staff Team, Development Team, and the Recruitment Team promotions may only occur at the end of the second cycle.
Membership Promotions:
Promotions of Department Members to another Department Member (non-supervisory) position only require Department Head approval.

Disciplinary action is issued by the Community Staff Team (CST) for violations of Community Rules & Regulations violations and Department Supervisors for internal department procedure violations. Violations issued by the CST are held permanently on your record until voided, but become inactive after 30 days. Violations issued by Department Supervisors remain within their internal records permanently, but do not effect your community record.
When considering when to issue disciplinary action, the following circumstances are considered:
The severity of the violation.
The defendant's cooperation and respectfulness during the investigation/complaint handling.
The defendant's previous disciplinary history.
Disciplinary Action Levels
All disciplinary actions issued must be documented within 24 hours within the proper logging system. All entries must follow the guidelines set forth by the department and shall be complete, factual, non-biased, and with evidence included. Failure to follow these guidelines will lead to disciplinary action being voided and the issuing member being disciplined.
Disciplinary action issued can be appealed by contacting the Department Head of the issuing department. Each Department Head is entitled to outline their own review and appeal process. Community Members can appeal it then one more time with Community Leadership.
All Community Members within Sunbelt Roleplay maintain an at-will membership status. This means that Community Management reserves the discretion to remove you with due-cause for at any time. Community Members who are removed under this procedure will have a classification assigned based on the discretion of Community Management. Users discharged under At-Will Membership may reapply after 30 days since your removal.
Community Members who wish to resign from a department but remain within the community as Civilian Operations shall utilize the proper channels of communication to notify the Department Supervisors of their wish to resign from the department. From there, a Department Supervisor will process your resignation.
Community Members who wish to resign from Sunbelt Roleplay shall reach out to the Community Staff Team via official communication channels to notify them of your wish to resign from the community. A Staff Member+ will work diligently to meet with you and process you out of the community in a timely manner. Community Members who are Department/Subdivision Supervisors, Community Staff Members, or otherwise hold a specialty community position may experience slight delay due to access control procedures.
Community Members who successfully follow the procedure and are processed out properly will be considered to have Properly Resigned. Those who leave without notice or are unwilling to wait for the process to be complete and leave anyway will be considered to have Improperly Resigned. Once our resignation form is processed, your resignation is final and cannot be unprocessed.
Community Bans are issued by Administrators+ for egregious violations of Community Rules and Regulations and severe violations of department procedures.
Appealing a Temporary Ban
When a Community Member is temporarily banned, they are banned from the Sunbelt Roleplay Discord for a period of 45 days. After the 45 days, users may rejoin and submit an appeal to rejoin the community if they so wish. Upon rejoining the Discord, the user can create a ticket within the ticket system for a Ban Appeal.
Sunbelt Roleplay has a zero tolerance policy for discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct. Users who are found to have conducted these acts will face an immediate Permanent Community Ban.
Sunbelt Roleplay celebrates and respects equality, diversity, and one to be the best version of themselves. Discriminatory remarks directed at someone's protected class is prohibited.
Harassment is harmful to the community as a whole. Community Members who continually target or berate a single member or small group of members after continued notification to cease will be considered as harassing them. Community Members who feel they are being harassed shall make clear and concise notification to the individual to cease communication and leave them alone.
Upon notification being made, both parties are held to the notice of stopping all harassing behaviors and communication unless necessary in roleplay.
Community Members who send unwelcome sexual advances, request for sexual favors, make sexual jokes or pointed statements, will be removed for Sexual Misconduct. Don't do it, ever.
If you believe you are the target of any of the above listed violations, it is your duty to notify the subject that their actions are unwanted and need to cease immediately. Upon doing that, Community Members should contact the Human Resources Leader and notify them of your ongoing issues with the Community Member. They will assist you further through the investigation.
